6 Steps to School Readiness
The preschool curriculum is developed by an experienced team of educators to comprehensively prepare children for the first grade.
The program, based on the “6 × KIDS” philosophy, supports cognitive, emotional, social, and physical development through various methods such as the Dalton Plan, educational projects, discussions, brainstorming, games, mnemonics, and mind maps. The focus is on both fine and gross motor skills and multisensory learning.
KIDS & English
Bilingual education is our priority and represents an undeniable advantage of our preschools. We teach English using the immersion method.
KIDS & STEAM
Fun and joy in learning — our program integrates Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics (STEAM).
KIDS & Social Skills
We focus on developing emotional intelligence, enhancing social skills, and establishing appropriate behavioural norms.
KIDS & Reading
We develop reading skills in Polish using the “Effective Surprise” method, created at the University of Łódź.
KIDS & Spanish
Multilingualism is a great asset, which is why we offer it to children right from the start. We teach Spanish using the Colorin Colorado method.
KIDS & Wellbeing
We focus on promoting a healthy lifestyle by developing physical fitness and organizing daily outdoor activities and play.
Bilingual education is our priority and represents an undeniable advantage of our preschools
Every day, care and education are entrusted to two teachers: one English-speaking and one Polish-speaking, who accompany the children in all activities and communicate with them simultaneously in English and Polish.
By using full language immersion and closely correlating the curriculum in both languages, as well as carefully selecting educational materials and teaching methods, children develop communication skills in both English and Polish in parallel, achieving readiness to continue their education in bilingual schools or with English-language international programs.
Bilingual education also includes learning through projects such as “Good Food by KIDS&Co.,” “Health & Safety by KIDS&Co.,” coding, and work based on the STEAM model and themes drawn from children’s interests.
Fun and joy in learning
Our program integrates Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics (STEAM) to foster children’s logical and critical thinking, creativity, imagination, and creative problem-solving. This is learning through action, experience, discovery, and creation. The teacher acts as an organizer, initiator, and companion in the child’s educational activities, creating opportunities for exploration, asking questions, modeling discussions, narrating to reinforce knowledge, correcting misconceptions, and allowing mistakes, which are an essential part of children’s development.
S (Science)
Science provokes children to ask questions or encourages them to seek answers independently through experiments and hypothesis testing.
T (Technology)
Coding with Geni and Ozobot tools helps children train memory, analytical thinking, and abstract reasoning, preparing them for the digital world.
E (Engineering)
Project work develops problem-solving skills and the ability to find creative solutions. By engaging children in construction projects, we build their capacity for engineering thinking.
A (Art)
Art allows self-expression, creativity, and imagination. Through sensory play and physical activities, children explore the world, develop creative abilities, motor coordination, and concentration.
M (Mathematics)
We create educational scenarios where children solve problems and develop logical thinking. We use projects, brainstorming, storytelling, songs, and worksheets to foster mathematical skills in an enjoyable way.
We develop reading skills in Polish using the “Effective Surprise” method, created at the University of Łódź. This method encourages children to intuitively recognize phonetic sounds and letter shapes. It incorporates children’s experiences, emotions, and sensory impressions, making the learning process enjoyable and quickly leading to fluent reading.
At KIDS&Co. this method is compatible with the English reading program, Jolly Phonics, which is scientifically developed and successfully used in British schools. The program uses a multisensory approach, engaging sight, hearing, and movement. Children learn to recognize the 42 basic sounds of the English language and combine them into words. Jolly Phonics also teaches writing techniques, correct pronunciation, and reading comprehension skills.
Multilingualism is a great asset, which is why we offer it to children right from the start
We teach Spanish using the Colorin Colorado method.
This is a comprehensive teaching method designed for preschool and early primary school children, based on play and a communicative approach. The goal is to teach children how to construct sentences, ask questions, and respond spontaneously in typical everyday situations.
One of the greatest advantages of this method is its spiral structure, which involves continuously revisiting topics. When introducing a new topic, the teacher integrates previously learned vocabulary and grammar concepts, ensuring retention of what has been covered.
Communication takes place exclusively in Spanish.
We focus on promoting a healthy lifestyle by developing physical fitness and organizing daily outdoor activities and play.
We help children understand the factors that affect their emotional and physical well-being, showing them how they can contribute to the well-being of others. Our approach emphasizes mindfulness, self-awareness, and listening to others.
In line with the saying “A healthy mind in a healthy body,” we promote healthy eating and hygiene habits.
KIDS & Social Skills
Preparing children for starting first grade
Developing emotional intelligence, social skills, and establishing proper behavioral norms is as fundamental as learning to read.
Through our unique preschool program, we instill positive values, teach strategies for handling difficult and conflict situations, as well as cooperation, responsibility, self-awareness, empathy, independent thinking, mindfulness, self-esteem, curiosity, and emotional independence.
At this age, such support is crucial, and its absence may lead to difficulties in adaptation and social interactions at school.
