Meet our international team

David

I am a physical education teacher by training and have been working with children and young people since the beginning of my career. I have spent the last 7 years working in a preschool, in my hometown of Los Angeles, where I was able to develop the skills necessary to work with children. I love using games and activities to develop physical fitness in the little ones, to teach good habits (healthy living), but most of all to inspire their curiosity and openness to the world and respect for others. At heart I am a scout, a lover of nature and travelling.

Iuliia

I have Master’s Degree in English/Spanish philology with teaching qualifications. I have got a number of certificates (TEFL, TBE, ESOL) and I pursue my professional development. My passions in life are teaching children, learning languages, playing musical instruments and traveling. I have started my teaching career in China, where it has become my passion. I like to teach children — their desire to learn the language is pure and sincere. With so many teaching methods and strategies it is amazing that teacher has the chance to find a path to a child’s heart, to see the process of gaining knowledge and its result on that cheerful, happy face.

Bernadita

I’m from the Philippines and have been living in Poland for more than 8 years with my family. I have the degree of Bachelor in Elementary Education and had previously taught in public elementary school for 6 years. I speak English and Filipino. Being with children has made me discover varied perspective of the world through their eyes. Guiding and nurturing them in unraveling and exploring their innate abilities is the main essence of my teaching. Helping them to make progress one step at a time has always been my pleasure. I like singing songs, reading stories and arts.

Pedro

The joy, naturalness and curiosity about the world that children have is the driving force behind my work at KIDS&Co. Every day I enjoy watching children discover, learn and grow. Moreover, my love for children is combined with a wide range of interests, such as photography, guitar, cooking, cinema, theater and music. Having studied some of above for many years in Spain, my knowledge in these areas translates into a creative and exciting approach to engaging children in the learning process. I am committed to fostering children’s curiosity and love of learning from an early age.

I am currently a student at WSB Merito University in Gdańsk. My first experience as a teacher was in the USA, which developed my understanding of child care and learning of kids. I had the opportunity to work as a professional educational consultant, an English speaker and book seller. I am a positive & creative person with an artistic soul and at the same time patient & responsible teacher. My hobbies are: running, listening to the music, writing poems, playing board games. My special attention during the lessons would be independence of an english mindset and developing speaker’s skills of your children!

I’m from Cuba. I studied medicine and I’m fond of pediatrics. I worked with children and I was organising sports and educational projects for them. I fancy sport, music and cooking. I love Polish mountains. My personal life includes my wife and my little son.

    Languages

    Do you accept children who don't speak Polish or English, and will they adapt?

    Yes, we do. Our teachers are trained in bilingual education and experienced in helping children learn new languages through engaging activities.

    How are bilingual classes conducted?

    We use a bilingual approach with both Polish-speaking and English-speaking teachers present at all times. Language is a tool for communication and learning, with children achieving near-native proficiency by age 11 if they start by age 4. We use project-based learning and the British phonics method for early reading skills.
