We have got a prize in Business of the Year category!

On Friday, May 5, the award presentation of the jubilee X edition of the Businesswoman of the Year took place in the Studio Theatre in the Palace of Culture and Science. The awards were given in the following categories: Star Idea/Local Business, Start-up of the Year, Leader in New Technologies, Business of the Year, Social Work, Woman of the Art, Science and Business. Female Champion of Change and Male Champion of Change trophies were given to female and male leaders working in favour of building diversity and supporting women. Inspiration of the year became Katarzyna Nosowska. The honourable award for lifetime achievement in a social area went to Anna Dymna.

In Business of the Year – Company with Income under 10 Million PLN category the prize was given Karina Trafna, the founder of Centrum Rozwoju Dziecka (Warsaw) working under the name Kids&Co. The winner received an additional award – Digital Acceleration from Microsoft. Microsoft will implement new communication channels with parents with the use of videoconferences, chats and parent-teacher e-meetings, will teach programming on the basis of Minecraft and will help the winner to promote her services.

The interest in the jubilee X edition of the contest was enormous – 500 nominations speak for themselves. Among the entries the jury run by Dr Irena Eris chose the winners – resourceful women who are not afraid of developing, risking and showing the world what they accomplished. Rafał Trzaskowski, the President of Warsaw, took patronage over the gala.
