About the facility
The KIDS&Co. kindergarten ensures not only the professional realization of the Ministry of Education’s plan, English-speaking education which shapes children’s natural bilingualism and an original programme developing social skills and emotional intelligence. It also offers a warm and family atmosphere, thanks to which children come here with enthusiasm and explore the world feeling safe and accepted.
The kindergarten staff – “aunts” and “uncles” – is a team of young, sensitive and creative teachers who constantly improve their qualifications. Together we take care of the comprehensive development of children, taking into account their individual needs and capabilities. Groups consist of up to 25 children. Each group is supervised by a Polish-speaking and English-speaking teacher, who communicates with children only in English.
The kindergarten’s day schedule is designed to maintain a balance between free play, outdoor play (arranged almost in any weather) and classes. Throughout the day, children have constant contact with both Polish and English, which helps them develop natural language skills, at the level of a native speaker.
Colours and details used in the interiors of our kindergarten are carefully selected so that they correspond with the age of children, stimulate their creativity and help in realizing all didactic, educational and caring tasks in a given age group. They are not only aesthetic, made of the highest quality materials but also designed to help children concentrate during classes. Our kindergarten is also equipped with modern teaching equipment, including a multimedia whiteboard, which teachers use during classes and free time (film screenings, dancing classes).
In our kindergartens we put special emphasis on high quality food. Our daily menu is based on local, unprocessed products, mainly groats, seasonal fruits and vegetables, fish and healthy fats. Incorporating elements of macrobiotics allows us to strengthen children’s immune system and provide them with energy every day. Everyone knows that self-prepared food tastes much better. We encourage children to participate in preparing and decorating sandwiches for breakfast and afternoon snacks.

Roksana Gawin — Headmaster
My name is Roksana, I have many years of experience working with children. I am a graduate of the Maria Grzegorzewska Academy of Special Pedagogy in Warsaw, where I gained qualifications to work with children of preschool and early school age. I also graduated in education management from the Warsaw School of Management. He has been working at KIDS&Co. for a long time, previously as a teacher and deputy director at a nearby kindergarten. My motto that I follow is: “Every child is different, but thus unique.” In my work with children, I focus primarily on their safety, education through play, but also independence. I also care about positive relations and mutual cooperation with parents. Privately in my life, the most important thing for me is family and friends. I love animals and have recently become a mom of a dog named Hugo. I really enjoy traveling, trying different foods from around the world and listening to music.
Katarzyna
I’m graduated from Uniwersytet Warmińsko-Mazurski in Olsztyn. I was studying English philology with the teaching specialization. I started my teaching adventure during my first year of studies, although my first choice studies was the translations ones. I do not regret my decision because working with the children gives me plenty of joy and satisfaction. In teaching young learners I mainly appreciate honesty of their reactions. Personally, I am a lover of a good food, travelling and animals.

I have been involved with KIDS&Co. since 2018, but I started my working with children in high school as a babysitter and volunteer at an orphanage. Those experiences helped me to choose the further path of education, which I am constantly developing. At work, I am guided by the principles of safety, tolerance and respect. Privately, I am a fulfilled mother, a fan of cycling and zumba lover.

Every day at work with children I can develop my interests and gain experience. Interactions with children inspire me to work and self-development. I try to make their world more interesting and full of warmth. In my work I focus on an individual approach to the needs of each child. Privately, I love music and singing.
Julia
Working with children is not only my profession, it is also my greatest passion. I am eager to broaden my knowledge in child’s education with the help of professional literature and trainings. I am an open, cheerful person focused on building relationships with children. In my contacts with the youngest I focus on an individual approach and development through play. Privately I am a fan of long walks with my dog and culinary experiments.

I graduated from the Maria Grzegorzewska Academy of Special Pedagogy in Warsaw with a degree in special pedagogy: re-socialisation pedagogy and care pedagogy. I continue my education by taking part in various workshops and trainings such as elements of hand therapy in working with children, sensory play, etc. Since 2017 I have been working in private nurseries in Warsaw. In my work I am inspired by work of two inspiring educators: Janusz Korczak and Maria Montessori. “When a child laughs, the whole world laughs” and so do I. It is for these wonderful smiles on their faces that I continue to work in my profession. It drives and motivates me. Working with children is never boring, it requires creativity, patience, commitment, openness and above all empathy. Every day is different. At every job interview, the question “Where do you see yourself in 10 years?” is asked, and I never have any doubts. I always answer with confidence and a smile on my face “With children. I see myself with children. They are real, they don’t pretend anything and that’s what makes them special.”

With a Masters in English, Bachelors in Education and a diploma in Early Childhood & Montessori Training together with over 5 years of experience in educational institutions and day care centres, I specialise in relationship building and helping institutions and students learn and grow hand in hand. I am passionate about effective communication channels to empowering my students express themselves through art and music. I enjoy travelling and exploring new places and making expansive meals for my near and dear ones.
Tetiana
Since I was a teenager, I have worked as a nanny and an English tutor. I graduated with a degree in education and have always dreamt of working with children in kindergarten. I have worked as a teacher with children between 1 and 6 but I find work with the youngest children most rewarding. I always try to make them feel safe and carefree. I am sociable and cheerful. In my free time, I like to experiment in the kitchen, watch movies and series, go for walks in any weather and study foreign languages.
Magdalena
I graduated with a master’s degree in educational diagnosis and therapy and got a diploma in “Education and therapy of children with autism and intellectual disabilities”. In working with children, communication, positive attitude and mutual respect are important to me. Children of nursery and preschool age are little explorers, eager to learn. Working with them gives me a lot of joy and satisfaction. As a teacher, I take pride in always pursuing my goals and self-improvement through regular participation in different trainings and courses.
