KIDS&Co. Academy is a series of extra-curricular activities for children aged 6–8, based on the Cambridge Key Stage 1 programme: Mathematics & Science.
Children explore, experiment, count and create through hands-on activities — all in both English and Polish.

Mathematics in everyday life
We show that numbers are more than just exercises in a notebook. We count, measure, compare and code through play and experimentation. We solve puzzles that require logical thinking, build constructions combining mathematical principles with creativity, and nurture children’s imagination.
STEAM in action

Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Maths — with us it means hands-on experiments, asking questions, and discovering “how things work”. Children explore how electricity is made, observe volcanic eruptions, and make a pencil levitate — learning fundamental principles from different fields through real-life examples. All through playful learning.

Bilingualism in practice
We don’t learn English — we learn in English, in a natural context, through experiments, conversations, projects and daily interactions. The classes are led by a native English-speaking teacher, always accompanied by a Polish-speaking teacher.

Programme based on Cambridge Key Stage 1 (KS1)
KS1 is the initial stage of the coherent Cambridge Primary programme, which prepares children for continued education within the Cambridge pathway. At KIDS&Co. Academy we focus on two key areas — Mathematics and Science, building the foundations of logical and scientific thinking, and developing curiosity, questioning, and problem-solving skills.

Classes in practice
We explore the world of science and beyond! Every session brings new questions, experiments, colourful projects and hands-on discoveries. We learn through action, passion, movement and joy.
During our sessions over the course of the year, children will, among other things:
- discover how electricity is generated,
- look inside the Earth,
- learn why volcanoes erupt,
- build bridges, towers, rockets and a levitating pencil,
- count, measure, code and analyse data,
- and much more!

Questions and answers

My child doesn’t speak English fluently. Can they take part in the classes?
Yes. Fluency in English is not required. Every child may take part in a trial lesson to see how they feel in a bilingual environment. Priority admission is given to graduates of KIDS&Co. kindergartens. The English level of applicants from outside KIDS&Co. and group qualification are assessed during a meeting with the English teacher.

Can I enrol my child during the school year?
Yes. Enrolment is open throughout the school year if there are available places in the group. In such cases, the number of sessions and the schedule are adjusted proportionally to the remaining time in the term or school year.

What is STEAM?
STEAM is a modern teaching concept combining Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics. STEAM classes develop creativity, logical thinking, problem-solving skills, and the practical use of knowledge in an engaging and inspiring way.
- S (Science) — Science means encouraging children to ask questions or posing questions in a way that prompts them to seek answers through experiments and testing hypotheses.
- T (Technology) — Coding with Genibots and Ozobots helps children train memory, analytical and abstract thinking, and prepares them for the digital world.
- E (Engineering) — Project-based work develops problem-solving and creative thinking skills. By engaging children in construction projects, we foster their engineering mindset.
- A (Art) — Art allows children to express themselves, create, and support creativity. Through sensory play and physical activities, children explore the world, develop artistic abilities, motor coordination, and concentration.
- M (Mathematics) — We focus on creating learning situations where children solve problems and develop logical thinking. We use projects, brainstorming, stories, songs, and worksheets to support mathematical competence through play.
