Skills of the future
As early as in 2007, it was estimated that over 60% of the jobs that our children will work in don’t yet exist. International research conducted in the professional development area has indicated that skills of the future such as self-awareness, memory, adaptability, creativity, problem solving, teamwork and critical thinking determine success in the future.
Three out of four recruiting specialists consider these skills much more important than technical knowledge, excellent grades or even references. Therefore, regardless of the paths our children will choose, they can or rather should be familiarized with the whole set of skills of the future as early as in kindergarten. The aim of this is to ensure they will adapt in a natural and stress-free way to the new reality.
Undertaking such a mission has motivated us to prepare a comprehensive KIDS&Co. education package that can face up to the challenges of the future. We focus on developing skills, which will provide children with courage to navigate in the adult world, enable them to work in jobs that don’t exist today and use tools that haven’t been invented yet.
Harmonious development and achievements of neuropedagogy
Education of the future involves not just multimedia boards or coding classes offered by our kindergartens. Our primary goal is to support all aspects of children’s harmonious development: emotional, mental, social, linguistic and motor.
We don’t limit our actions to one scheme. We apply elements of the Dalton Plan and the Montessori Method of Education, while also looking for new inspirations in neuropedagogy. Keeping in mind that children are different and they have various temperaments and emotions, we’re constantly trying to spark their curiosity, boost their self-confidence and stimulate their growth (the so-called “growth mindset”), which will help them later in life. We teach preschoolers from a very young age how they can use their natural energy and potential to listen, focus, control their behaviour and have good relations with others. Children with self-awareness, able to control their actions, empathic, with high motivation and self-reliant are success-oriented children.
We shape lifelong habits in children’s early years.
In KIDS&Co. facilities we realize our original bilingual programme based on the early immersion method, i.e. language immersion. It’s not only an important educational component but it also introduces children to a new reality, helps them adapt and overcome their own communication barriers. Children explore the world that surrounds them using two languages; English-speaking teachers accompany them during classes, playtime, eating, trips, performances and other events.
Our education offer is complemented by healthy and tasty meals which include a large amount of vegetables, fruit and groats. This diet helps children develop healthy eating habits, boost their immunity and ensure proper development. Teaching children how to make healthy choices every day is also a very important component of education of the future.
