About the facility
On 4 September 2023 we opened the first facility for children in Katowice. We are delighted that KIDS&Co. has arrived in historic Silesia. Silesia Star is one of the brightest stars in the center of Katowice. A cosmic mix of classics, style and an otherworldly location. Green common spaces, a large number of parking spaces and convenient access to public transport. All this makes Silesia Star a true galaxy of comfort.
The unearthly location of Silesia Star means that everything is at your fingertips. Shopping and services, cultural and sports events, galleries, conferences, educational and public institutions as well as the proximity of public transport with the main station make it close to everything. The modernized, green Silesia Star patio is a place where you can take a deep breath. Perfect for a moment of relaxation after picking up the child from kindergarten.
KIDS&Co. Kindergarten and Nursery is located on an area of about 420 m², in four rooms — two nurseries and two kindergartens, each with its own bathroom with direct access from the room. There are a recreational area for children in the immediate vicinity of the office building and parking spaces for parents.

Patrycja Kołodziejczyk — Headmaster
I am a graduate of the Pedagogical University of Krakow and the Krakow Academy. During my pedagogical studies, I completed specializations such as: preschool and early school pedagogy as well as educational and career counselling. I obtained additional qualifications by studying education organization and management. I have gained professional experience so far by working as a nursery caregiver, kindergarten teacher and deputy director for pedagogy. I started my career in KIDS&Co. as a deputy director. As a director, I make sure that KIDS&Co. Silesia Star in Katowice is a place filled with a positive atmosphere, where children have space to develop their competences and acquire new skills. In my work, I care about building good relationships with parents, mutual cooperation and trust. Every day I try to approach life with a smile, and I believe that there is no situation without solution.
Monika — Deputy Headmaster
I am a graduate of the University of Silesia in Katowice, where I completed master’s studies in early school pedagogy and preschool education. I also completed postgraduate studies in photography in therapy and personal development. I am a certified hand therapist, TUS trainer and sensoroplasty trainer. My passion is working with children, and as a teacher I am constantly developing my methodological and therapeutic skills. Currently, I study psychology and sensory integration. In my work, I place particular emphasis on building emotional intelligence in children. I believe that developing skills related to recognizing and managing emotions is crucial for the harmonious development of children. My approach involves encouraging children to express their feelings and building the capacity for empathy. In free time, I am passionate about photography and discovering the beauty of nature.
Nicoletta
I started my journey of working with kids as an animator in Poland and Spain gaining an experience in international environment. I also worked as nanny and animator in a playroom. I gained a valuable knowledge while working as teacher’s assistant in kindergarten in integrated group. I’ve been working in nursery for a couple of years now. I also studied psychology and I try to use that knowledge in both everyday life and work. My interests are developmental psychology and neurodiversity. While working with kids I focus on attachment and understanding their needs and emotions. In my free time I like to dance, read and learn about other cultures. In KIDS&Co. I’m an English speaking caregiver in a nursery group.
Natalia
I am Natalia — warm, kind, helpful, patient and understanding. Privately, I am a happy mother of two children. I have many years of experience in working with children, and I am constantly developing my knowledge about the upbringing and development of children. When working with children, I focus on social and emotional development, which is why I want to create an atmosphere of mutual trust, respect and acceptance. Working with children is my passion, which gives me a lot of joy.
Marcelina
I am a graduate of the University of Silesia in Cieszyn, where I completed bachelor’s studies in the field of Integrated early childhood education and preschool education and master’s studies in care and educational pedagogy. I gained several years of professional experience mainly in kindergarten. I also worked in a integration institution. In my work, I focus on learning through play and experiencing the world around us. I am passionate about new technologies, which I would like to use in my work in the future. In my free time, I read psychological publications and go hiking.
Patrycja
Graduate of Kelvin College in Glasgow, where I completed a course in Early Childhood Education and Childcare. Three years ago I returned to Poland where I started working as a teacher's assistant in language kindergarden. I have been working with children of different ages for several years. Working with children is an incredible challenge for me. My priority is an individual approach to each child, acceptance of children's needs and their emotions, developing their creativity, problem solving skills, expressing themselves in various ways and communicating. I try to see and understand the world as children see it and improve it through.
