Contemporary consumerism and the child

Contemporary consumerism and the child

We live in an age where access to products, services and information is almost unlimited. Modern parents face a big challenge – how to cope with the maze of advertised products, how to wisely guide a child through the world of material goods?

Children have acquired the status of consumers for two reasons. First of all, children are more likely to have their own money that they can spend on their own needs or whims. Secondly, children have a great influence on what is bought in their family. Explain to your child the world around him. Even very young children (3-4 years old) can be taught that advertising does not fully show the truth and is only intended to buy a product.

Let us show children that a happy and good life depends primarily on self-respect and acceptance, healthy relationships with other people, interesting work or passion, and not from the size of your wallet.

Let’s meet!

We invite all of you to an individual meeting with the headteacher. This will be a great opportunity to find out about our educational offer, ask questions, and visit the kindergarten. You can book one visit for a given day.
