Frequently Asked Questions

When does the registration for KIDS&Co. kindergartens and nurseries start?

The registration for our kindergartens and nurseries is open all year round. The new preschool year starts in September and therefore most parents contact us between May and October. During that period our groups fill up very fast, so we suggest you think about registering your child in a selected facility well in advance.

Are there still any vacancies available in the facility I’m interested in?

You will find up-to-date information on available vacancies on the subpage of the selected kindergarten.

Even if there is information about a temporary shortage of vacancies, please contact the headmaster of the facility. In some cities we can offer alternative localizations. We also suggest putting your name on the waiting list – as soon as there’s a vacancy, you will be first to receive this information.

We recommend visiting our website and subscribing to our newsletter, so that you don’t miss any information on new facilities we plan to open in a given city.

How long does it take to register my child in kindergarten or nursery and how does this process look like?

Step 1: Filling in the Registration Form. We kindly ask all parents who want to register their children in KIDS&Co. kindergartens or nurseries to contact us by filling in this Registration Form

Step 2: Phone Call. We will contact you on the closest working day to answer all your questions and discuss the next stages of the registration process.

Step 3: Visiting the Kindergarten. We highly recommend participating in Open Days organized by every kindergarten at least once a month.  On these days, parents can learn how our facilities function and talk to our staff. In the meantime, their children take part in exemplary thematic classes. For your convenience, we usually organize our Open Days on Saturdays. The current meeting dates can be found here. You can also arrange an individual meeting, however, it will be difficult to observe the classes. Visiting the selected kindergarten is very often the stage at which parents read documentation and register their child.

Step 4: Signing the Agreement. In order to complete your child’s registration, you have to sign the Services Agreement and fill in the Preschooler Card, the Nutrition Card and the Pick-Up Authorization Forms. This usually takes takes a dozen or so minutes. All documents are already in the facility waiting to be signed and parents are not required to prepare them beforehand. Don’t forget to take your identity card with you!

Step 5: Adaptive Days. The kindergarten can take care of the child immediately after the agreement has been signed and start their adaptive days on the same day.

The entire process of registering your child in a KIDS&Co. facility can take, in an extreme case, up to one day. However, parents usually give themselves more time to, for example, participate in Open Days.

What are the criteria for registering my child?

The only criterium is the number of vacancies in a given kindergarten or nursery and the order in which registration forms have been received.

Can children with special educational needs attend a KIDS&Co. facility?

KIDS&Co. kindergartens and nurseries are non-public facilities, which aren’t required to offer special education. However, we consider each case individually and therefore we recommend contacting the headmaster. Together we can assess whether we will be able to provide your child with the highest quality specialised care.

What’s the tuition fee?

Tuition fees in our kindergartens and nurseries can vary slightly depending on their localization. Therefore we recommend that you contact directly the headmaster of the selected facility.

For company kindergartens, co-financed by employers, you can receive more information in the company’s HR department.

What does the tuition fee cover?

The tuition fee in our facilities covers Education in English realized through out original programme “The Bilingual World of Children” and daily, all-day care of an English-speaking teacher.

A wide selection of extracurricular activities: eurhythmics classes, sports, large-format art, cooking.

In addition – adaptive classes, family picnics and many other kindergarten events.

How big are the groups?

A group can consist of max. 25 children, depending on the facility. Each kindergarten group is taken care of by two teachers – a Polish-speaking and an English-speaking one. Principal caregivers of nursery groups are supported by two additional employees.

How do you prepare and serve the meals?

Ensuring your child’s health and proper eating habits is one of our priorities. Meals served in all KIDS&Co. kindergartens and nurseries are balanced and prepared to suit children’s needs, providing them with energy for a whole day and restoring physical and mental balance. Including elements of macrobiotics, avoiding sugar and using fresh seasonal products helps us achieve tangible and impressive results in boosting children’s immunity system.

We cooperate on a daily basis with smaller caterers who put the quality of their meals over quantity. When needed, we can also prepare elimination diets at your request.

Every week, parents receive via e-mail a menu with meals for the following days. It’s also available for download in the Parent Zone.
