The former Powiśle Power Plant is a unique location due to its history and design, described as “the pearl of industrial architecture.” It was the first power plant in Warsaw, established in 1904, which completely changed the city, contributing to its modernization. After the outbreak of the war, the plant continued to operate, and its employees became famous for their heroism during the fights within its walls through the Warsaw Uprising. They constructed the famous “Kubuś” tank. The power plant, rebuilt from the destruction of the war, served as a laboratory for the Warsaw University of Technology students. It is a modern complex that brings together offices, a shopping mall, and numerous well-known restaurants.

Aleksandra Rogoża-Piekarska — Headmaster
I am an English language teacher who gained her Master degree in 2011 at the University of Stirling in rainly Scotland. After graduating I worked as a teacher in England, Spain and Germany and also had the opportunity to gain valuable experience while undertaking various administrative positions in the education sector. I returned to Poland in December 2020 and since then I have had a pleasure to work at KIDS&Co. – first as a teacher of six-year-olds and a coordinator of English and Spanish teachers and then since July 2022 as a director of a nursery and kindergarten. Throughout the years I have gained essential experience in education and deepened my knowledge in the field of language teaching. Following the thought of my favourite educator Rita F. Pierson that "kids don't learn from people they don't like", I put great emphasis on building relationships with my pupils. Making children feel safe and creating the right learning environment for them is a priority for me. It is equally important for me to maintain strong relationships with parents, with whom I strive to provide the best upbringing and education for their children. I believe that every child is unique and talented, and that each, if properly directed, has the potential to achieve great things.
